Tech Domains, Busines Domains, Job Domains, Travel Domains, Luxury Domains,

It’s not just a Domain Name — it’s Branding & Marketing

The internet has taught people what to do when they see a domain. It’s not just an address, it’s the first bit of marketing.” — Seth Godin

Tech Domains, Busines Domains, Job Domains, Travel Domains, Luxury Domains,Thinking about Domains

Many domain names are worth a fortune, tens of thousands are worth a semi-fortune. So why are domains worth so much? Seth Godlin says that it comes from two things:

1. Commitment. Because there’s only one “dot com” TLD and no serious contenders, there’s only one neighborhood for business online. You’re either on Fifth Ave. (or Rodeo Drive, your choice) or you’re not. If you build a site at IslandLuxuryRentals.com, you’re making it really clear to the surfer that you care about this topic, that you’re here to stay and that you can be trusted.

2. Focus.  By having a domain that matches what you do, you are able to focus the attention of the surfer. They know what to expect before they get there, and you can spend less time explaining yourself. The web already offers too many choices–this way, your site doesn’t have to.

The internet has taught people what to do when they see a domain. It’s not just an address, it’s the first bit of marketing. — Make yours count!

A great exact match real estate domain name will allow a total stranger the ability to understand exactly what the website is going to be about without ever visiting the site. There is a pre-expecation of what someone will find at LuxuryPropertiesNewYork.com, RentalBeachHomes.com, or  WomensHealthNews.com, fill with relevant content and you instantly become the authority.

Today’s successful businesses have to have a strong online presence. Buy a Clear, Descriptive, Intuitive, Category-defining  Domain Name today and add credibility and value to your marketing presence.
